To Love or Not To Love

Loving someone or being loved by someone is an indescribable feeling that I believe everyone should feel in their lifetime. Although being in love may be very difficult, have it's ups and downs but that's what makes the love worth while. No relationship is perfect, but wether you get your heart broken or not it's an experience and lesson learned that shape you into the person you become. It's always good to love but be sure you are ready to handle it if it comes along with struggles.

None is Enough response

I think it's not society's decision whether two individuals should have children or not. It's really up to you and your perspective on how it changes ones life with such an impact. To have kids or to not have kids is a difficult thing to decipher. Kids can bring so much joy but yet so many struggles come along with it. Although it's a massive task to take on, I think having kids is an amazing thing. I believe that they truly do change the person you are in a way that they prove to you that you can endlessly love something without doubts. Life may be easier and more relaxing without kids but in the long run, you never truly get to experience of having a "little you" in your life. They live, they learn, they fall down, they make mistakes, but that's life... you did it too; just now you're looking at it from a different perspective. Some tend to argue that kids are annoying, loud, and messy but that's normal for them. They're so little they havnt learned any sort of manners or common sense yet. Dont get me wrong it's ok to not want any kids, there's nothing wrong with that. But the people that do have kids, really couldn't picture their life without them. Kids have a way of taking over your life without even knowing it. Senseless to the deeds their parents do for them and the things that they sacrifice in order to do what's best for their kids. What would the world be like without kids? No imagination, no learning from immature mistakes, no comments from little brains that are constantly running like wildfire asking questions that may or may not have a realistic answer. I love being around kids. Their perspectives on the world are sometimes realistic but often so honest and innocent. They don't know any better. I think everyone should experice the joy of loving a child and being loved in return by them so innocently.

Parenting

This is an interview with my mom about parenting

Q: What strategies did you use to discipline your kids?
A: Well we didn't hit, thats for sure! The child lost privileges. Sometimes soap in the mouth... just kidding.

Q: How do you maintain a good relationship with your child?
A: Honesty, open communication, try to be very honest, and point out what the objective is.

Q: How to you handle their everyday needs?
A: I do it all! Somehow i manage to keep everyone happy and content... i think.

Q: What's the best part about parenting
A: Having the love of a child.

Q: Is there anything you would do differently?
A: I would've had one more child if i started earlier.

Q: Which gender was easier to raise and why?
A: Boys, because girls are a lot more emotional and as they get older they get more and more needs. Boys don't usually fuss with their clothes or get involved with drama. They're more easy-going.

Q: Are you proud of how you raised your kids?
A: Yes. They are growing up to be very well rounded great kids. They are very kind and caring. But don't get me wrong, they can be fresh sometimes!

Q: If you could change something about them what would it be?
A: Nothing!

Q: What is the hardest part about parenting?
A: For me, its enforcing the punishments. I hate taking something away that you really want which is why you get away with a lot.

Q: What obligations come along with parenting?
A: Making sure that you are safe and happy, well adjusted individuals

Love

Love to me is such a broad yet strong word. Love isn't something you can see with the human eye but yet it's so visible when two people are in love. It's something you feel when you have a strong gravitation towards someone else. Although iv never actually been in love, it takes over your life. You think about that person and that one person only constantly until it takes over your brain. Nothing in this world could make you not love that person anymore because once you're in love, it's often times hard to fall out of it.  "It's like trying to change your mind after you're already flying through the free fall" "Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you've never met" (Taylor Swift).  Love is priceless. You can't go out to a store and buy a box of love. It's natural. It's a feeling everyone should experience in their life time. To love and to be loved is such a feeling that's almost indescribable. You feel wanted, you feel safe, you feel needed. And that's when you know it's real and it's right.

Difficult Conversation

*the scene starts at a family gathering where Alexandra and her cousins Kelly and Ashley are all sitting around talking*
Kelly: OMG I'm so sick if school already and it's only October
Ashley: Ugh I know! being a first year teacher at QMS is a really tough job when you don't know the ropes of the school yet
Alexandra: Oh yeah I forgot! How is it Ashley
Ashley: it's awesome but very tough
Mom: Alexandra time to go!
Alexandra: ok bye guys I'll see you next weekend!
Ashley: what's next weekend?
*we were having a surprise party to celebrate Ashley's new job*
(stuttering) Uh...um.. we are going on a shopping trip remember?? we talked about it earlier.
Kelly and Ashley:.... Um..
Alexandra: Would you want to go??
Kelly and Ashkey: Sure!
*Alexandra leaves and is thankful she got herself out of that one

Flufferhuzza

I was running late for school one morning and my mom was taking forever. In a rush, I grab my backpack and my lunch and bolt out the door to the car. I make it to school on time but once I get there I realize i didn't have my homework for all my classes. so I yelled "Aw Flufferhuzza!!" and all the people around me stop and stare. Not caring that I forgot my homework anymore, I look around in disbelief that no one knew that a Flufferhuzza was. What was there problem?? A Flufferhuzza is something you say when your disappointed.

more goals

Some additional goals I want to achieve are to better comprehend the meaning of words and to be able to take information and grow on it. When we define words like courage and friendship in class I want to be able to think outside of the box and deeper recognize the true meaning of something. Also when I have a certain set of information, I want to be able to take it and grow on it and further understand the purpose of the data.
